With benefits such as:

Emergency Medical Expenses up to £10 million - Cover for emergency medical treatment and additional expenses, repatriation and 24/7 services of a medical assistance company, outside your home country.

Baggage cover up to £4,000 - Cover for items that are usually carried or worn during a trip if they are lost, stolen or damaged.

Cancellation & Curtailment up to £3,000 - Cover for any non-refundable unused travel and accommodation costs if you have to cancel or cut short your trip due to certain reasons (see policy wording)

Personal Liability up to £2 million - Cover if you are legally liable to pay costs due to an incident caused directly o indirectly by you and that results in injury, death to a person or loss or damage to property.

Delayed Departure up to £1,000 - Cover if your first outward or final inward international departure from and to the UK is delayed for 12 hours or more due to reasons specified in the policy.

Abandonment up to £7,500 - Cover for if you choose to cancel your trip after a delay of 12 hours or more at the outbound journey from the United Kingdom or the Channel Islands

Missed Departure up to £1,000 - Cover for additional travel and accommodation costs if you arrive too late to travel on your booked transport due to reasons specified in the policy.

Personal Accident up to £25,000 - Cover for your accidental bodily injury whilst on your trip that results in your death or loss of limb, loss of sight or permanent total disablement.

Personal Money up to £750 - Cover if your cash or money carried on you or left in a safety deposit box is lost, stolen or damaged.

Loss of Passport up to £250 - Cover if your passport carried on you or left in a safety deposit box is lost, stolen or damaged

Hospital Benefit up to £1,500 (£20 for each full 24 hour period) - Cover if you are in a public hospital abroad as an in-patient during your trip

Legal Protection up to £25,000 - Cover if you need to claim compensation due to your death, illness or personal injury.

Catastrophe up to £1,000 - Cover for reasonable additional costs of travel and accommodation if the pre-booked accommodation has been damaged due to a Catastrophe

Hijack up to £500 (£50 for each full 24 hour period) - Cover if you are confined as a result of hijack.

Pet care up to £200 ( £40 for each full 12 hour period) - Cover for Kennel/Cattery fees if your arrival in the UK is delayed for 12 hours or more or you are unable to return home due to an illness.

Business Cover up to £2,000 - Cover for Business Equipment and Business Money whilst on your trip.

Golf Cover up to £1,500 - Cover for your golf equipment, loss of green fees, Closure of the golf course whilst on your trip.

Wedding Cover up to £1,000 -Cover for wedding gifts, attire, rings, photographs/video recordings whilst on your trip

What Other Covers Are Available?

Phones, Tablets & Other Gadgets Extension - Provides Gadget Cover Up to £1000 We will pay up to £1000 for the intrinsic value or cost of repair of your gadgets, including tablet computers and mobile phones, which is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed whilst you are away on your trip.

  • Unauthorised calls if your mobile phone is stolen up to £75
  • We can cover the following gadgets: Mobile phones, iPhones, iPads, Tablets, Smartwatches and Go Pro’s.
  • Please note: There is a single article limit of £500.

Overseas Return Quarantine -Additional travel insurance cover if you are denied boarding on your return journey due to having or being suspected of having an infectious disease (including COVID-19).

  • Up to £40 per person per day (up to a maximum of £560) towards additional accommodation expenses (of a standard no greater than your original booking).
  • Up to £300 (Europe), £500 (Worldwide) per person towards the cost of return transport home. (This must be at a standard no greater than the class of transport on your outbound journey, on the same mode of transport and at the earliest possible date based on medical or local authority advice).

Winter Sports Cover -Extends your policy to provide cover for you when skiing or snowboarding and provides the following additional cover:

  • Winter sports equipment up to £500
  • Hired winter sports equipment up to £250
  • Ski pack up to £400
  • Piste closure up to £500
  • Avalanche closure up to £500
  • Benefits are per person.

Winter Sports with Increased Equipment Cover - This option includes our standard winter sports cover with the addition of an increased level of cover for your own winter sports equipment.

Cruise Cover -If your holiday involves a cruise you must purchase this extension to be fully covered.

Travel Disputes -Extend your travel insurance cover to include legal costs up to £25,000. Designed to cover the pursuit of compensation against your Tour Operator, Holiday Company, Travel Agent, Car Hire Company, Airline, Ferry, Train, Cruise Liner or Coach Company, Hotelier or property owner if they fail to fulfil their contract with you.

Natural Catastrophe - Provides additional cover for cancellation and additional expenses as a result of a catastrophic natural event, such as: fire, flood, earthquake, storm, lightening, explosion, hurricane or volcanic eruption which is unknown and unforeseen at the time you purchase the insurance or book your holiday, whichever is the latter.

  • Cover for cancellation up to £1,500 per person
  • Provides cover for any part of your outward, onward, return journey or whole trip which is cancelled due to a natural catastrophe.
  • Additional expenses to enable you to return home up to £150 per day (£1,500 in total) per person
  • Provides cover for reasonable additional accommodation (room only) costs and transport expenses, up to the standard of your original booking, to enable you to return home if the public transport you are booked on is cancelled or delayed due to a natural catastrophe and an alternative is not provided within 24 hours, or in the case of connecting transport, not provided within a time frame that allows you to continue with your original itinerary.

Missed Connection Cover - Extends your policy to provide cover if you miss your pre-booked connecting Aircraft, Watercraft or Train as a result of the cancellation, or delay of 3 or more hours, on your initial international outward or return journey, due to adverse weather, mechanical breakdown or technical fault.

The policy provides cover up to £500 for additional transportation and/or accommodation expenses incurred to enable you to join your connecting Aircraft, Watercraft, Train or Motor vehicle or to get you to your pre-booked final destination.

Sports and Activities (Hazardous Activities): It is important to make sure that you have travel insurance cover for any sports or activities you intend to take part in whilst you are away. We provide cover for 25 activities as standard; with the option to add more sports and activities.

How do I make a claim?

Alternatively, please advise the section of the insurance on which you want to claim and master policy number and policy reference to:

You need to:

  •  produce your insurance certificate confirming you are insured before a claim is admitted.
  • give us full details in writing of any incident that may result in a claim under any section of the policy at the earliest possible time.
  • provide all necessary information and assistance we may require at your own expense (including where necessary medical certification and details of your National Health number or equivalent and Private Health Insurance).
  • pass any and all correspondence relating to outstanding medical bills to us with your claim form, or if received afterwards, send them on to us quoting your claim reference number.
  • pass on to us immediately every writ, summons, legal process or other communication in connection with the claim.
  • provide full details of any House Contents and All Risks insurance policies you may have.
  • ensure that all claims are notified within 3 months of the incident occurring.
  • not abandon any property to us or the claims office.
  • not admit liability for any event or offering to make any payment without our prior written consent.

We will:

  • make your policy void where a false declaration is made, or any claim is found to be fraudulent.
  • take over and deal with, in your name, the defence/settlement of any claim made under the policy.
  • subrogate against the responsible party and take proceedings in your name but at our expense to recover for our benefit the amount of any payment made under the policy.
  • obtain information from your medical records (with your permission) for the purpose of dealing with any medical claims. No personal information will be disclosed to any outside person or organisation without your prior approval.
  • only make claims payments by electronic BACS transfer, unless otherwise agreed by us.
  • pay a maximum of £80 for medical records/completion of a medical certificate
  • cancel all benefits provided by this policy without refund of premium when a payment has been made for cancellation or curtailment of the trip.
  • not make any payment for any event that is covered by another insurance policy.
  • only pay a proportionate amount of the claim where there is other insurance in force covering the same risk and to require details of such other insurance.
  • settle all claims under the law of the country that you live in within the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Isle of Man unless we agree otherwise with you.
  • submit any disputes arising out of this contract to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the country that you live in within the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Isle of Man
