Recommend a Friend—Terms & Conditions

Please read these recommend a friend terms carefully.

This “Agreement” (these recommend a friend terms together with the documents referred to in it) sets out the terms which govern our recommend a friend program (“Recommend a Friend Program”). Please read this Agreement carefully before you use our Recommend a Friend Program. By using our Recommend a Friend Program, you confirm that you accept this Agreement and that you agree to comply with it. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, you must not use our Recommend a Friend Program.

1. Referrals:

1.1Subject to your compliance with the terms of this Agreement, UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited trading as Cover4Students, Cover4Tenants or Cover4Insurance shall pay you a “Referral Fee” to you via a cheque, to the correspondence address we have on file for you, if you meet the Recommend a Friend Program requirements (as in force at that time).

1.2You may use the Recommend a Friend Program by sharing a unique link.

1.3You must be a policy holder of Cover4students, Cover4tenants or Cover4insurance to use the Recommend a Friend Program.

1.4Each qualified person you invite shall only purchase an insurance policy in their name.

2. Policy Discount

Each friend that you refer to Cover4Students, Cover4Tenants or Cover4Insurance through the Recommend a Friend Program will be entitled to a £5 discount off their insurance premium. For further information, please visit Recommend a Friend Program page insert link.

3. Prohibited Uses.

3.1You may only use our Recommend a Friend Program in good faith for lawful purposes.
You may not:
(a)Create more than one account in order to invite yourself;
(b)Invite existing customers of Cover4Students, Cover4Tenants or Cover4Insurance
(c)Invite fictitious people
(d)Do anything that damages Cover4Students, Cover4Tenants or Cover4Insurance brand, goodwill or reputation
(e)Use the Recommend a Friend Program in (i) anyway that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation; or (ii) anyway that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;

4. Identification Documents:

4.1UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) limited trading as Cover4Students, Cover4Tenants or Cover4Insurancemay require identification documents from you prior to paying the Referral Fee.

4.2UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited trading as Cover4Students, Cover4Tenants or Cover4Insurance shall not be in breach of this Agreement (nor have any obligation to pay you a Referral Fee) if you do not (in UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited sole and absolute discretion) provide the identification documents requested by UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited.

5. Data Protection:

You represent and warrant to us that you have obtained the express consent from the individuals whose data you provide us with.

6. Abuse The Referral Terms:

6.1UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited has the right to refuse to pay you the Referral Fee if (in its sole and absolute discretion) UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited suspects that you have not used the Recommend a Friend Program in good faith or have breached this Agreement.

6.2We will determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Agreement. When a breach of this Agreement has occurred, UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited may take such action as we deem appropriate, including (but not limited to) termination of this Agreement, cancelling your insurance policy ad suspending the Recommend a Friend Program.

7. Limitation Of Liability:

UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited accepts no liability for any use of the Recommend a Friend Program which does not comply with this Agreement.

8. Changes To This Agreement:

We may revise this Agreement at any time by amending this page. Continued use of the Recommend a Friend Program shall amount to acceptance of the Agreement in force at that time.

9. Changes To The Recommend A Friend Program:

UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited reserves the right to:(a)Amend, alter or change the Recommend a Friend Program at any time, without notice; and(b)Terminate the Recommend a Friend Program at any time without notice. In the event the Recommend a Friend Program is terminated, UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited reserves will not be obliged to credit any accounts that would have otherwise qualified for Referral Fee.

10. Applicable Law:

10.1This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England Wales.

10.2Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
