There Are Two Distinct Areas Of Use For Caravans:

    • Motorhomes – a caravan that can be driven,
    • Caravan holiday homes (static caravans) – are sited on land with permission which is operated as a holiday park, usually in the countryside or by the seaside.
  • Housing:
    • Park homes (‘mobile homes’ in law) – caravans used as permanent, residential homes sited on land with permission to operate as a residential park.
  • As defined in law, all caravans must be capable of being moved.
